When our new favorite micro-brewery-Sterling Pig-approached us to design their new website, we couldn’t have been more excited. The Pig, as many have come to call it, brews delicious small batches on-site with eight rotating taps and serves up the best barbecue and wood oven pizza in town.
BREWED TO PERFECTION
Leveraging the already designed logo, we went hog wild and took the approach of using rustic barn wood for a background that remains static as the user scrolls the page. Content overlays the wood texture with slightly transparent containers to allow the grit of the wood to show through while allowing the text to remain legible.
THE NITTY GRITTY
Sterling Pig’s website had to be built to allow their staff to make updates on a regular basis. We developed the site so that sections including the Tap List, Menu, and News & Events are easy to update using a Content Management System. To keep the home page fresh, we included their Instagram feed so that images were updated whenever they posted on the social media platform.
